Worried about fitting on Mako

I am a larger lady, 5ft 4 in and a size 20, carrying most of my weight on my belly and boobs (I am an apple shape! ). What are the chances of riding Mako at Seaworld, that is the ride I most want to do this trip.

Any experiences from ladies of a similar size?

Also what are my chances of doing the Harry Potter rides.

I'm a similar shape 😊, usually a size 18 or 20. Last July we rode it, it was 'snug' but to be honest that is how I prefer it on those rides!

The restraint goes down on your lap

They have quite a bit of give and I saw some quite large people ride it

If you're unsure if you'll fit I'd try the test seat outside the front of the ride - much better than ending up doing a walk of shame like you see lots of folk doing on rides like Forbidden Journey. Mako the design of the restraint is very accommodating so you should be fine.

Im on the chubby side and fitted the ride no problem, indeed I would have preferred the seat to be a little snugger when the ride reached the airtime part and I flew off the seat

Its only a lap bar type restraint so I think you will be fine... great ride, don't miss it

I think you will fit no problem. These rides are designed by US standards. Hope you do. Enjoy !

I found I didn't fit in a lot of the seaworld and Busch seats at size 22, just make sure you try the tester seats I'm sure you will be fine, I carry my weight on my bum!

Hi, my sister is a size 20 but taller than you at 5'6, she didn't fit on sadly. They could not get the lap harness down enough to click 3 times. She was a bit mortified at having to get off bless her. The staff were all lovely though and gave her a pass for use on any ride.

She had no problems on the HP rides though.
