The iPad Air is supposed to go on sale Nov 1st for anyone that is interested... starting at $499. Apple will continue to sell the iPad 2 but the Air will eventually replace the 3.

Yep, already planning to be outside either MoM or Florida Mall at silly o clock on Nov 1st to get myself a new iPad Air.

But also disappointed that the new retina iPad mini 2 is not on sale until after our trip.. Wanted to pick up 2 for the kids for Xmas..

on a related note, their timing has cost them $1300 - i was going to get a new macbook pro if they had've arrived in stores 48 hours earlier than they did (i got home yesterday morning)

I have reserved a refurb iPad 2 to collect from walmart when we get there 299 dollars. Bargain me thinks.
