Day 4

Denny's

Another breakfast place I'd heard so much about was Denny's. You'll notice a theme with my breakfasts...sweet. So off we went!

I decided to try the standard French toast. It was rather tasty!

Don't forget the sides Bacon and sausages! And yep, that is maple syrup on them. Try it and thank me later!

Feeling less hungry than me obviously...a side of fruit.

Another portion of breakfast potatoes with bacon. This wasn't as good as IHOP apparently.

And finally, some kind of combo meal with bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns, toast, and a side of 2 pancakes. This was well received!

Winter Summerland Mini Golf

We had a little wait for our round of mini golf, so I cooled off with this ice cream sandwich. It was delicious!

4 Rivers Smokehouse

Meat-lovers will absolutely adore this place. But a word of warning...go HUNGRY!

I decided to try the pulled pork sandwich, and what a great decision it was!

On the side, I had some jalapeņo cornbread. Delicious.

Some of the other plates on the table included a tray of burnt ends.

Some brisket quesadillas, which were apparently very nice.

and some deep fried pickles with mac and cheese!

For dessert, I opted for the chocolate brownie. It was pretty good, but I was quite full at the time.

I washed it down with an amazing grape soda. mmmmm.

Some other desserts included a key lime pot (seen in the background).

and a fruity pot of goodness.

Thanks for all the lovely comments! I was a bit nervous starting this report as I didn't think it would be able to live up to some of the amazing ones on here that I was drooling over.

Just catching up and all looks good... you do like your morning sugar rush though don't ya . IHOP looks great it's somewhere we never went to , not for the want of trying but just never got round to it... we did visit Denny's a few times though and loved it every time we ate in there... more main meals than breakfast we did though but it was all good ... looking forward to reading more 👍

Really enjoying it & there's been plenty of new stuff I've never seen before which is fab!
