We have stayed at the shire west haven twice and going to the sanctuary at west haven next year. The area is lovely, well kept and feels very safe. They are all gated at west haven and there is no noise permitted before or after certain times (I think that’s pretty standard though) I went running at 6:30am every morning and felt totally safe on my own, was quite a few runners out actually.
It’s very close to publix, millers ale house, chilles, red robin burger place plus more.
Traffic to the parks is busy but we have found the traffic bad no matter where we stay. Best is to avoid busy times so set off extra early or later in the morning

Hi there
Haven’t stayed in West Haven but nearby in Highlands Reserve. I liked the area, quieter than I92 area but still lots around especially now with new shops opening up at Posner and the Berry Centre (Publix, ihop, nice pizza and nail bar - all the essentials). Easy to get on to the I4 or up to I92 for even more dining and shopping. If you’re going to Legoland it’s not too far. We definitely liked the area.
Xx

Have stayed at West Haven 3 times and love the area, as above well kept and quiet. Close to local stores and restaurants, was an easy drive to parks etc.

Stayed in West Haven loads of times, love the area

Nice and quiet, gated, safe communities and close to Publix and a few restaurants

Decent I4 access to Disney too

If we aren’t staying on site we wouldn’t stay anywhere else
