Would anyone attempt this Christmas?

We were wanting to go to Fl for Christmas this year before all of this ‘rona started. All us crazy but we carried on looking at prices and currently, they are pretty decent! Very tempted to book it and just see what happens?! Anyone else booked for around Christmas and will still be going all being well?

If we did go, we most likely won’t be doing Disney though. As much as I agree with the current restrictions in place, I feel that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy it to the fullest as I would be worried and really on edge trying to adhere to the rules. Luckily, we will definitely be able to find lots of other things to do

We booked to go to New York for new year before all of this happened. Paid deposit so far. Fortunately our insurance covers us as was booked early enough, so we’re just seeing what happens.

If you can book on deposit only I may be tempted, but on the understanding I may be losing the deposit.

We had already booked (and insured) for December.
Deposit paid for flight and car also for Disney and Universal tickets.
I’d paid the full amount for the hotel though (Holiday Inn at Disney Springs).
We don’t fancy all the crowds at Disney so are in the midst of changing to a Gulf coast break in Clearwater, with a few days in Daytona.
Holiday Inn were fantastic and refunded (even though I only asked for vouchers).

I would check your insurance and see if it would cover you should you get sick if you booked now. As healthcare out of pocket in the states is $$$. If the insurance is good and bookings are cancellable if you can’t travel then there’s no reason not to book and see what happens in the next few months.

We are already booked for December. We are booked with Virgin Holidays and still hopeful of it going ahead. We have only paid a deposit so far with the balance due the end of September - hopefully we will be in a better position to know by then if it’s going to go ahead.

We are going at Christmas this year too. Have you upgraded as they have changed the aircraft and now messed our extra legroom seating?

We’re booked for December, 5 weeks including a Disney cruise!

Booked ages ago so all insured but I wouldn’t be booking now as not having insurance would worry me.
