Nice hotel recommendations in Naples and Rome.

Next year we are wanting to stay in Naples and visit Pompeii and Mount Versuvius, then move on for a couple of days in a Rome. Hotel recommendations off Dibbers would be welcome

We stayed at Rest Guesthouse in Rome...could see the Vatican Walls from our window. Everything in walking distance as well (though to be fair, Rome city centre is small). It was a lovely little place with only 3 or 4 rooms, very quiet and modern. Our room was beautiful.

No recommendations for Naples though!

In Rome we stayed in the Infinity Hotel Roma. It was near the Spanish Steps and walking distance to everything. I�d happily recommend the hotel.

following this thread, hoping to do naples in september. hadnt even considered a two stop trip. just looked and its about �10 a ticket and an hour on the train to get from rome to naples...
