if its the same as when I worked at BA, they will need a refresher course, which is only 3 days of tests etc. You can resume flying as soon as training is complete.

If they are going through full training again, that takes around 4 weeks, so they would need to start around beginning of October.

We have been cancelled today (we were going on the 3rd) not sure whether it was error or not, but to be honest, we are done. This has been way too stressful for the last few days as we debated what 'early November' meant, so we have requested a refund and are looking to do something else now. Wife is gutted but we will look again when things are more sane.

We were booked for 2nd and have had our cancellation. I spent over an hour on the phone to try and get through before getting cut off. Not sure what we're going to do now, we still want to go but a little stressed as our passports only went off on Monday for renewal so concerned they wouldn't be here in time. Think if we do manage to go we'll be done with Florida for a while.

Passports are quite backlogged at the minute unfortunately. The renewal we sent off on 29th august still isn’t back yet 😞

We have a booking LHR - MCO 25th October depart and 8th November return. The 25th October flight has been cancelled but I assume the 8th November (MCO - LHR) flight will not be. I have logged in to Virgin Atlantic but cannot see where to request a cash refund. What is the best way to do this? Thanks

So are they actually cancelling the holidays by mistake or are they informing people that they have been cancelled when they haven't?

Cancelling by mistake and I believe, automatically re-instating them.

Our flight was consolidated with the earlier flight today and Virgin Atlantic confirmed they just trimmed it down to 1 flight that day. I imagine it will be the same for others moving forward.

Changed from a A330-300 to A330-200

Looks like flights from LHR are being condensed down into one direct flight a day

Seems like Sundays and Mondays are still using A330-200s LHR to MCO early next year. A350-1000 on the other days of the week though. I've just been consolidated from the later flight to the early one on 7th Feb but appears to be A330-200.
