Eco laundry eggs

Wondered if anyone had tried using one of these eco laundry eggs.
I bought one from Home Bargains yesterday for £3.99. It says it does 210 washes. Thought it would be rubbish but it actually works great. Cleans really well just doesn’t have the laundry smell. I’m not completely eco friendly so I will use use some fabric conditioner next time !

If anyone has looked at them and been dubious I would recommend to give one a try !

We've used our Eco Egg for years. We buy Smol fabric conditioner to go with it, as it is free of nasties and plastic free.

Do you not use any cleaning products with this?

It comes with little pellets and you fill the egg with them. I’m not sure what the pellets are made of but the box does say they contain no chemicals.

I have been using it all week, I do an awful lot of washing and I am really pleased with it so far.

I've had one for a few years now and got on well with it except for really stained clothes (usually my DD7 playing out clothes!). I also found that every now and then my DH gym stuff would need a separate wash with washing powder. I got out of the habit of using it but you've spurred me on to get mine back out. Thank you!

I’ve had one for months - only use it when the washing isn’t really that dirty and also use fabric conditioner as it doesn’t really leave a fresh smell - but it does clean ok.
