Oh my lord, searching for a new energy provider is driving me mad.
At the moment im with N Power for electric and British Gas for gas. There are loads of companies that i have never heard of. Ive looked on U Switch and Martin Lewis - cheap energy club for help. Ive been looking all day and still got no where Who are you all with? Any info welcome

Just moved to SSE from EDf. Some smaller companies were cheaper but I remember on here some people were with a company that went belly up and I didn't want to risk that happening.

We're with Flow Energy, we've been with them for about 18 months. So far so good, prices are good and service is excellent...they answer the phone really quickly (unlike others...I'm looking at you British Gas! ) and the call centres seem to be based in the UK.
Edit to any we moved from SSE also. |

we were GB Energy and when they went under the account was transferred to the Co-op. We were in credit so left it as it was but now we've used our credit we're looking to change it again but I hadn't heard of the companies that came out as cheapest for us (but I hadn't heard of GB Energy either and they were fine until they went under).

Sainsbury's energy for us!
we were with them in our old house but had first utility when we moved in here. First utility bill you monthly and out 1st months bill (in Feb) was £192 so after 4 months of these types of bills I switched back to Sainsbury's and now pay £66 a month! There service is provided by British gas.

EDF on a dual tariff.
There were some admin issues to begin with but they got sorted and I got a credit on our account as a goodwill gesture.
