Disabled parking

So the disabled parking thing will be totally new to me.
I understand 8 have to apply for the temp handicapped placard as I have a blue badge.

I never really taken much notice of the parking situation for the disabled in the states , so in terms of the resorts I’ve seen the handicapped spaces which I know we can park in with the tag displayed, but what about places like Disney springs, the malls, universal studios , are the spaces well highlighted on entering do you just drive to them and park ( I’m thinking more universal on entry do you have to tell the guy in the little box) , and obviously in Disney springs is this well advertised in the multi story parking lots ?

Many thanks
Jules

It’s fairly easy to find disabled parking as the signage is so good in the US. Just ensure your red(temp) permit is hanging from your rear view mirror. In Disney theme parks, just follow the blue line. At universal, they usually tell you to put your hazard lights on & direct you to the disabled lane.
If you’re entering from Universal Boulevard, it’s wise to stay to the left if you can (not the far left - staff only) as the disabled lane is on the left.
