We have been 4 times now to the HP tour and loved it every single time.

We make sure to book at least 6 months in advance - coming from 2 hours away we want a mid morning start so we dont have to get up too early, and so we get to the cafe in the middle round lunch time, and don't have to get home too late after... like everyone else...

I hadn't thought of that. Is it very expensive+ worth it?

You should try it in the evening if you ever get a chance, not sure why but just has a different atmosphere!
We have been about 6/7 times now and the evening slots have been our favourite, especially when it’s Hogwarts in the snow 😊

How do you book the behind the scenes tour rather than the standard one?

We are booked for Harry Potter at October half term but that’s been rolled forward from last year. You have to book very early for school
Holidays.

You can get a sandwich or wrap for about a fiver, a burger or hotdog for about £8/9. If you catch it before the end of breakfast (11.30) a bacon and mushroom (my choice from the selection) roll is about a fiver and very tasty indeed! Followed by butter beer ice cream... nice.

The menus are all on the studio tour website. The cafe halfway round is "The Backlot Cafe"
