I’m having a normal fridge freezer, a chest freezer (but I batch cook a lot) and a wine fridge. I am going to have plenty of room though as our utility is a full size kitchen, so I think that will work best for me, plus allowing to use our current appliances.
I’m having a double oven, but not a combi microwave, the microwave isn’t used much and so I’m sticking it in a cupboard and pulling it out when I use it

Windows/doors layout help please!
Option 1 like this but the door and window panel swapped to allow better flow from the entrance hall Option 2 double french door plus panel with opening Option 3 sliding door all of the options will be up to 3m. I have steps in front of the garden and will not be adding patio right now option 3 is just like but bigger window |

I think sliding is better as we can leave it open easier in the summer.

My SIL has folding doors, no threshold to step over. Is that an option? Out of the above sliding doors.

Only problem with sliding is that you only have half the opening open iykwim😉
Is it your only back door? Ie do you have a utility as well. Think of how much cold air will come in if you have to go out in the winter/rain. We have bifolds with 3 panels, so comparative size to yours. Lovely when all 3 are folded back, not as big as french and only 1 side. Plus single opens to go out with rubbish etc. Think the price would be between the french door/window combo and the sliding doors (which we found dearer than the bifold a here in Wiltshire) Hope that helps x

we went with layout similar to the one in the photo. I thought a lot about it but it feels the best. Sliding is double the price, bifold is bit silly as we have steps in front of the door and French door will only reduce the light, as the steps aren't wide and we don't plan to do anything big in the garden for many years.
