What are you trying to save, alcohol, calories, money?
Apparently AF lager/beer has improved, DH drinks it a bit when we’re out (as I’m never the driver)
I don’t mind the cider, but to be fair cals are similar so sod that I’ll have the booze
I can’t get on with the wine, but again, if driving I can cope with one then water, line and soda etc. At home I drink squash and soda on my far too infrequent sober days

Alcohol and hopefully calories. Trouble is I really like the taste of wine. I dont drink lager or beer and only cider on a very hot day with a proper pub ploughman's. (I know I'm weird). I do not think there's much chance if me saving money sadly.

I’m like you, the occasional cider. But love wine. I can’t make it work either with AF or low alcohol unfortunately, just doesn’t taste right 😢
