Hello, I have IBD and i'm abit worried about the flight, I have requested to be near the toilet but was wondering if there was anything that you tried to stop the anxiety/stress the night before to keep as calm as possible, I was thinking of just taking some homemade things to eat to not overload my system and sticking to low residue diet as it sometimes helps.
I will be marking toilets on maps so already planning on doing that to reduce stress.

I know it’s not the same but I suffer from IBS. I agree with the food as you know what is safe for you. Good idea about the toilets though.
I’ll be taking some spare clothes too just in case. Is there any medication that you can take for your condition? I’ll be taking some Imodium to try and stop it too so at least it’ll prolong any episodes until off the flight. I hope this helps somewhat. |

Not at moment, was on budesonide steriods and mezavant but intolerant to both... my rheumatologist said I have early onset osteoarthritis in hands and suspects axial spondyloarthritis in spine so could be going onto anti TNF(biologics) if after MRI and bloods it is that..
