Coffee in DVC room

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone managed to use ‘fresh’ coffee in the drip filter rather than using the pod that comes with the room?

Are we able to use paper filter etc?

Many thanks

Absolutely, we always buy filters (& keep a pack in our Owners Locker) and fresh coffee. The coffee bags they provide aren't enough, we like a fresh pot every morning.

What you mean by ‘owners Locker’? We never stayed in DVC before and hopefully will experience it first time next year (we are currently waiting to see if small point purchase at Beach club is ours too!)

Something you can pay for - not through DVC.

I use the Joffrey stuff in bags in the drip machine, and if I have to use my own use a paper towel as a filter- does the job.

Just standard filters, they come in a pack of around 100.

Good luck with your BCV purchase, you have excellent taste!

We buy filters and Starbucks ground coffee from the supermarket when we arrive. Works great.

TBH we use our Aeropress, as we only need 2 cups but like others go to the supermarket & get filter papers etc. Last stay Mousekeeping weren't great on re-stocking the bags anyway.

Thanks… I have been trying to understand the benefit of aeropress…… useful to know as it is quite portable…. Wont start a whole discussion here about aeropress!
