Best Christmas Crackers?
So looking at buying my Christmas crackers 😊
Any recommendations from you lovely Dibbers? I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, but I don’t want rubbish crackers. Where do you buy yours from? Are they worth the money? Thanks in advance Jane 😊

We don’t go for fancy crackers as we always love to fight over the magic fish and the frog 😂

I like the musical ones, either with whistles, bells or glockenspeils! Great fun after lunch!

We decided a few years ago to not have crackers - dd decided they weren't eco-friendly enough. Instead she made some origami baskets, some paper hats and wrote out a joke for everyone (found some online that were appropriate). Think we popped a couple of sweets in everyone's basket too.

What a great idea my daughter would love this, I have 5 boxes of Christmas crackers as I bought quite a few in the 2019/2020 sales but after these are used then no more unless they become much more eco-friendly

We have Hotel Chocolat crackers for Xmas day, and Sainsbury’s family crackers for the tree and the rest of the days.

My mum insists on the expensive crackers and its always up to me to provide them on Christmas day. A box of 12 fancy ones for the adults and a box of kiddie ones for the children. The children ones are always the wind up Santa/snowmen etc I would usually get the crackers from Debenhams when they go on half price so I only pay £20
Not sure where I will get them from now 🧐 they usually have a pen, wine stopper etc |

I buy the normal cheap crackers as the kids usually have more fun with the cheap toys and the men have the same conversation/arguments about how the magic fish work 😂
Although I undo them, add in a scratchcard and chocolate the tie it up again. We like to keep old traditions going in the family as there are too many disappearing... we want the kids etc to have the same fun, laughter and memories we grew up knowing and loving. The elderly family members enjoy reminiscing and telling stories of things they had at Christmas etc too, so crackers are a must for them. |

I buy cracker kits. I buy a scratch card & lotto ticket for them. Then me &DH buy each other a gift to put in it. DS & my dad buy for each other. So it’s like secret Santa. If the gift is sightly to big we pop it on the table next to the cracker.
One year my dad put some money in our crackers without us knowing, which was a lovely surprise. There are also some crackers by Advent of change, which are charity crackers. If you would like to check out. We are buying them this year.
