DVC Room request

Hi all, i'm wondering how/which is the easiest way make a specific room request with DVC? I can't seem to find how to do it via the site.

The two I’ve had met we’re both made via the online chat with MS.

One was for an area for a treehouse, the other was a specific room number at CCV.

TBh I've never had great success with any request, sometimes feel lucky to even the correct area! Once had a request for high floor with Disney Springs view = Result the bottom left room, in the bushes, next to the path that they close at night! Once upon a time it was a fax 5 days before check in but I have no idea!

Shooby is correct, expect request not to work and be pleasantly surprised when they do. Keep as generic as possible for best chance. Don’t tick a request on the check in on the app after asking for something- you will override the request.
I agree with PoohBear use the chat. Chat is always better than hanging on the phone and it’s in writing.

I 100% agree on expecting not to get your request, my 2 I did get are the only 2 I’ve ever had met in 19 years, usually we get almost the exact opposite of our request 😂

Oh, I realise requesting is purely for the possibility. However we've been fairly lucky in the past with requesting at time of booking but this is our first time using DVC to book so I figured it's worth the attempt as we'll be staying for for some time in one place. Thanks all, i'm happy you said chat rather than calling as those wait times are the worst.
