There are a couple of exits out of the subway, I suppose if we read the signs we might have come out the one that was nearest the tram - we turned right instead of left and were heading off towards a bridge , which was the wrong way. You need to be facing the hill ! I am sure it will be sign posted in the metro station, I just cant recall it. The tram is easy to spot and the waiting area is just by where you cross over the road.
Thanks - the shuttle it is! Just read somewhere it's every 15 mins :-)

Really appreciate the detail in your trip report, thanks!

We will be doing Universal then moving on to Anaheim that night.

Please can you tell me why, having checked out of your hotel that morning, you didn't just drive to Universal?

We were going to drive, but it seems like you have done a lot more research than me, so I know you'll have a good reason I haven't thought of

We didnt want to leave all our cases in the Universal car park , we felt the hotel valet car park was much more secure. As it turned out with Andy having a hangover, Im glad he didnt have to drive that morning . We also didnt have to allow the driving and parking time which gave us a teensy bit more time in bed - it was less than 15 minutes on the metro, I would say we would have needed 45 minutes minimum for the drive and parking .

Hope that helps
Amanda

Wow that near miss story was scary...

Shame about the late night grumps but it's so easy to end up bickering when everyone's tired.

Apart from that a fab day
