Thanks for the replies. The children are having their hair cut tomorrow so think I will have a chat with the hair stylist to see what she thinks - although when I have it cut next week, somebody else will be doing it as my normal lady is on holiday.

Well, I went for it and now have a layered choppy bob which I'm really pleased with. And the tiara I was having second thoughts about now looks much better

Looking forward to see a photo of the new you Paula. I like the style you've chosen and I'm sure it will look great. Are you intending to do it yourself on the big day or booking an appointment with a local hairdresser? If the latter, take a photo of how is looks now that you've had it done and take it with you. That's what I did when we got married in Barbados and the hairdresser said she found it really helpful to see exactly what I wanted her to do. Not long to go now.
