Anyone else having problems with Yahoo mail today

My btinternet.com email accounts have been down since midnight. I chatted with BT this morning online who said it would be between 4 hours and 24 hours till service resumes 😤😤😤😤😤

my yahoo is back but I refuse to believe ive had no emails since yesterday - I just hope they haven't been totally lost (obviously if they've been sent be other email servers rather than yahoo) or just whirling around in a black hole somewhere never to appear again...

Oh no! I’ve asked people to send me test emails so when (if!) my email ever returns hopefully that will serve as some sort of test as to what has been sent

Just speaking from my own experience. I have checked my email several times an hour every day, every year and this is the first time since 2004 that I have ever had an outage. I do realise that is it an old service as indicated in my statement that I have used it since 2004.

Thats a good idea actually - tbh its not letting me send any emails still so obviously its not back properly. Im expecting some important emails as well so I hope it gets back to normal soon

Me too, I’d ask people not with BT or yahoo whatever emails to send test ones. Those who I’ve asked have reported that their emails haven’t bounced, which is good, but it remains to be seen if they ever arrive!
