marriage - why?
Hi,
Was chatting to friend at the weekend about someone we know, his 3rd marriage has just failed and the divorce came through a couple of months ago. Anyway rather predictably this weekend he made a big announcement, he is engaged! The first thing I thought was why?

I think after three weddings I would be definitely allergic to any kind of 'I do', and seriously doubting my judgment of potential partners.

maybe he's found the one and they are madly in love
 addiction- some people love all the hype involved low self esteem/control? he doesn't think they'll stay or he thinks he can make them stay if they get married glutton for punishment? just plain crazy? fair play to them both if they are prepared to take the chance considering his history but personally I would have some serious doubts |

I don't think I could marry a man who had already been married three times. I would be questioning what there was that I hadn't got to know about him, whether that be the way he behaved in the marriage, his judgement or his reasons for wanting to marry so many times.
