DVC Member Cruise - Oct 2019 - Day 6
Today was supposed to be Boston. Not to be.
There had been an announcement the day before that the ship would be turning 180 to get away from a huge storm, the seas then were about 8 to 12 feet with a 40knt wind, ahead was 25 feet plus, 60kts wind. They didn't think they would get out of Boston even if they managed to get in. A very rough night, not much sleep and uncomfortable with the rough seas. In the morning it was better but still a fair amount of movement. We made the most of the day filling in some shows we wanted to catch up with and a bit of tub time. No pools as they were way too rough to be in. Managed to catch some of the Rugby World Cup at the bar so happy me. Dinner was the full show in Animators Palatte. Evening show was a presention about the Sherman Brothers. It was topped off with a live performance from the Broadway Mary Poppins - Ashley Brown. Incredible talent, had the place on their wobbly feet. |
