Disney Waterparks - refillable mugs/cups
Can anyone advise on cost of these and how they work? Can you use the same one at both parks?
We normally just buy drinks as and when we need them but when we buy a drink for all 4 of us we end up wasting a lot so sometimes we just buy 2 or 3 to share. |

We share one refillable mug between us. You can buy a mug then refills free (it has a bar code sticker that you scan then self serve your drink). When you go to another (Disney water park) you can just buy a new bar code. I am sure this year we took out mug from previous year and just did that. Can't remember prices sorry...

We bought one mug, which we used at both parks by buying the extra sticker barcodes.
We did take our back one year and just bought stickers for it, but can't remember where it is now, so will buy a new one. I think it was something like $10 for the mug, then $6 for the stickers.

The only down side, is you now have a cup to carry! You can stick in locker I guess, or under sun bed if you get one (we never bother). We stuck in in locker when we went round lazy river, otherwise took it in turns to hold it.
This year we are on site with DP for first year, so might use snack credits for bottle drinks to share and then bin. |

Thanks everyone. Looks like it will be worth it to buy 1 or 2 to share.

They are great... we have had a couple for years and use them whenever we go back. Last year we went to get a sticker and the server said you already have the one for Tuesday, when I said it was from last year they said no problem it will still work
