Plane left 50 mins late yesterday but great flight and I actually thought it was better than Virgin the food and service certainly was and to watch premiership matches live at 38000 ft is something else . Made a bit of time up aswell. Landed and straight through immigration no queues at all. 3 bags off straight away but the 4th must have took a wrong turn but found its way eventually. 5 mins at customs bags back on conveyer but security was rammed and really slow.Did the nobody's got any liquids check only to find my son forgot about the two bottles of 7up in his tracksuit top pockets he was wearing. Made the flight with a few minutes to spare but tbh I think they would have held it as there were a plenty of people doing the same connection. Flight to Orlando was rammed and very bouncy think we caught a bit of a storm. Breezed through MCO and bags off straight away and Uber picked us up 12 minutes later $43 to Springhill suites at SeaWorld. First indirect flights and I'd certainly do it again even though I didn't get to try a Philly cheese steak😁

We flew this route 3 weeks ago and like you could not fault AA at all.
One word of advice though is keep an eye on your return itinerary, our return flight was cancelled and delayed for 24 hours, neither AA or BA (booked through) contacted us to let us know and we only found out at check in on the return day at the airport. Happily AA worked like trojans to find us a flight home that day and just as were looking at a 3 leg homeward journey they found us direct Virgin flights, so a really bad start to the journey home ended up being better than the original plan. Would definitely fly with AA again. We were on the A330 and thought the seats were better than the Virgin 747. More leg room I would say. |
