Irish Dibbers - any bargain flights end Oct?

Hi

Just wondering if any Irish Dibbers had found any bargain flights for Dublin to MCO for end of Oct (say 27th Oct) and returning 3 weeks later (say 17th Nov)? We have ever only flown direct with Aer Lingus but flights are nearly €4K for the 4 of us! We only paid €2,340 for the same dates in 2016. If we don't get cheap flights DH says we are probably not going! Our kids are older now (13 and 12 when we go) so indirect will be fine.
Thanks!

Thanks Ashland - I've seen quite a few flight queries in this section but I might post it in Trip Planning too. I've seen good prices with Virgin via Gatwick - TBH I think DH doesn't want to go at all - I wish he had told me that before he suggested the trip and I put down a deposit on OKW and a villa.

Ah sugar, it is an awful lot of money. We did Dub-Gat-Orl before. Its fine going out but its hard flying over home to sit in Gatwick for 3 hrs before flying back over the Irish Sea. Also you wouldnt clear immigration here. Id def recommend looking at going indirect thru the US, so United, Delta or American Airlines.

Just had a look there on United for you. If you went 28.10.18 - 18.11.18 you could get it for €1955. I dont think you would get any cheaper than that.

Does it have to be those exact dates? Messing around with dates on matrix.itasoftware/

I can see anywhere from €468 per person to €550 per person (All 1 stoppers) on various dates going out between 24th October and 28th October and coming back between 15th November and 19th November.
