:) Thomas Cook Air Tanker Flights

Hello! First time posting a question!

Me and my sister have booked to go Florida in October with Thomas Cook. On the flight confirmation it says Air Tanker but no other flight number? I have seen posts that there are 2 different planes, one with IFE and one without. Is there any way of finding out before we get on the flight what type we will be on?

We flew on the air tanker from stansted and it had IFE with seat back screens. Everything was pretty much the same as their normal airbus.

Hi

theres a fair few threads running on this, use the search box top left

AFAIK the one with no seat back TVs wont be in service with TC this year so you should be okay.

I recommend you get the Check My Trip app as its great to keep an eye on aircraft or seat changes - but I think you are on a decent flight.

As I say have a search for airtanker and you will see the latest threads about it.

No drinks at all, or no free drinks apart from with meal?
I doubt if they would be allowed to take off with nothing on board to drink.

The two Airbus A330s that were leased to TC Airlines by Airtanker Leasing last season are now operating as follows:

GVYGK with seatback IFE ...still with TC and looking like it will be for the summer, just no firm confirmation yet.

GVYGM With streaming IFE to your tablet, and overhead screens. Leased to TUI Belgium at this time.

The only other A330 on the ACMI leasing market from Airtanker is scheduled to work for Jet 2 for the summer season

The other 11 Airtanker A330s are working Voyager Fleet Aircraft for the RAF so not available for commercial lease.

Hope this helps

We flew AT last year, leg room etc all grand, one thing to watch out for, I had read they were a cashless airline so had no cash in hand luggage, just cards to pay and upgrade ife etc. Turns out they would take cash... or visa... but not mastercard which is all we have through both bank and revolut. Luckily my mum had a visa. We were delayed a bit on way home and all got free IFE upgrade which was nice.
