we haven't flights sorted yet but if I can get the prices I've budgeted for we'll be getting:

29th June - 13th July 2018
10 nights POR - upgraded to DDP
4 nights Cabana Bay and Universal tix

for 5 of us and it'll work out about £1,800pp - if I allow for an extra £500 on what might be ambitious flight prices it'll be £1,900

Similar here - that's why I didn't want to post the amount we two fork out. We don't have kids or many commitments so our holidays are a real splash. We've earned it so we spend it. I totally realise that people have to work to a budget. Our first USA holiday was £1,000 all in. That was 25 years ago!

For 4 of us 3ad 1ch August 21 nights, BA fly drive to Miami with 7 seater minivan hire 21 nights, 3 nights Fort Lauderdale accommodation, 18 nights villa, 1 night RPR, 1 night HRH, universal tickets, Seaworld/Busch tickets, cirque tickets, Everglades tickets cost is £5500 works out around £1375pp not including food and spends. Cheaper than an AI European holiday in August.

Getting Excited

We are 2 adults and one child going for 2 weeks in August this year - can't stand the drive back from the airport so have a taxi booked - Travelodge at Gatwick - 11 nights Cabana Bay, direct flights with BA - no car whilst there so cab from airport - 14 night 3 park tickets for Universal ( no Disney having a year off) just added it up to £4300 ( includes ESTA costs for 2 of us and insurance - eek £1433 each plus spending money which will depend on how much we can save between now and August and the terrible exchange rate.
