Ba seat allocation under 12

Those of you flying with ba. How far in advance did they allocate you seats when flying with a child. I have read 3 days and 5.

We flew on the Thursday this year and my seats were allocated the Friday before.

I'm reasonably sure its not that accurate a time period. I think its somewhere between 3-7. I've flown twice with BA and I'm sure it was varied but I'm happy to be proved otherwise.

Ooh I didn't know this my daughter is 10 but we are 5 travelling other girls are 13 and 12 will we be allocated seats ?

I agree in our 4 times with BA it's never been exactly the same time frame.

Yes I think so. Your 10 year old should be beside an adult. The term beside is not necessarily the seat next to but for us it always has been. We fly as 3 and once as 4 and we were all seated together.

We fly next Tuesday and BA allocated our seats today. All 4 of us are together in the middle row.
