Yeah, that's a good point.

Although if the OP is just going to Disney Springs then they won't use their tickets.

Another good point. Based on our experience of DS, I'd avoid going there on the first evening. It gets very busy at night.

Anyhoo, here's a photo of myself and my 13yo daughter (as she was at the time) enjoying the Buzz Lightyear ride at around 8pm local time on our travel day:

And we still got up at 6am the next day and got to EMH at Animal Kingdom.

You can catch up on your sleep when you get home.

THIS!

I've got early morning ADRs booked to take advantage of being awake early as well!

you will be worn out after the early start and the flight

and it depends on the immigration too that can wear you out too

will you be using the magical express to get to all stars ?
there may be a wait there too

then there is booking in at the all stars and then finding your room too
massive site (we got lost at the music one )

will you be doing a bit of food shopping ? that may take an hr if you go to a big supermarket

yup having a meal a downtown disney would be a nice way to chill

We arrive @ MCO 16:55 on 16/12 staying at RPR first. Am I right in thinking it could be 21:00 before we see our rooms?

a couple of year back we arrived at MCO @14:00 from MAN

straight through immigration bags waiting on the belt , skipped the counter into the car & in hotel at LBV in just over 30 mins.

In disney springs by 16:30 for a bite to eat and a wander about

perfectly doable if you get lucky

It could take you 4 hours or more, sure. Or it could take you about 2 to 3 hours (which is probably typical). Or, as mentioned above, it could take you about 30 minutes (although I wouldn't bet on it being that quick if I was you). It depends on a number of factors.

So, yeah, fingers crossed for you.

Thanks.
So many questions!
I feel as if I need a holiday before the holiday that I'm going to need a holiday to recover from.
Trying to get my head around the weather forecast now!

Thanks for the help. I follow My Magic Holiday, a travel agent, and they've a few staff just arrived at Disney. I noticed they landed at 3:40pm Florida time. They had checked in by about 11:30pm our time, so pretty late! Am hoping I get plenty of sleep on the plane lol.

I plan on going to Walmart soon after arrival, there's a new one opening up nearby isn't there? I plan to get an Uber there and get a kettle and hairdryer and other bits and pieces.
