You have my sympathy. I swear my laptop is fit to explode with me checking all the time. Good luck!

After much deliberation, I've decided my main aim in Virgin direct 27th Sept for 21 nights. Would love PE but having lost 1k with Thom and a villa deposit (also fully booked, the lovely owner will give us deposit back if our dates get booked but no guarantee of this) it'd need to be a good price. May do econ out and PE back for luggage and space, seems a cheaper option too.

The second choice is United Edinburgh - Newark - Orlando. these are circa £400pp at the moment.

Anyone else playing the waiting game?
Have you priced up with Aer Lingus from Edinburgh (via Dublin)? There were some amazing prices for October but didn't suit our dates.

We booked a few days ago - BA fly drive Edin-Gat-Orlando and then return with Aer Lingus via Dublin.

I have yeah
Cracking prices but on the way home we wouldn't be getting back until after 2pm. I'll keep checking though

Don't forget you would have cleared immigration in Dublin. We decided on a 3 hour layover in Charlotte but there was a flight with 1 hour 15 minutes.

£400pp is a very good deal.
I've been looking loads of times each day over the last few weeks but not getting price/times that I'm happy with.
The last couple of years we've booked BA flydrive and flown back via Philadelphia... unfortunately American Airlines have stopped the route from Philly back to Glasgow which now means a long layover at Gatwick.

Last year's BA flight was cancelled due to the hurricane and we rebooked with Thomas Cook.
Apart from being delayed 24 hours, we found TC to be pretty good and with options not being particularly great will probably book with them again.

Virgin direct under 600pp now on skyscanner!

With TC it wasnt really the flight that we had issues with, more the run up. It was a party of 10 booking and between them over charging, fight for a refund, cancelling our seats plus other issues it was just a nightmare so has put me right off.

I was trying to get reasonably priced Manchester flights, but yesterday I’ve given up and booked to fly from Gatwick with BA. We got direct LGW-MCO return flights for £900 per person, flying out club world (upgraded from premium using avios points) and back Premium Economy, 21st October to 7th November.

Sadly not, it's economy both ways but we do have 'Dibbers Row' on our journey! I do wish I'd waited but we all learn, this is my first time I've booked a holiday of this magnitude, when I've been before my Dad has sorted it all out!

Hope you've managed to get a cracking deal!

Insurance wise, despite me being a walking health problem, we got a cracking deal for all 4 of us. 😀
