I will give some Alamo prices for you. Shown as Econ and Compact.
Pick up 4th, drop off 14th Alamo Brits £211 and £217 Virgin £262 and £290 Netflights £219 and £224. Dollar is £181 and £198 Just a flavour really but as it's Sept there are keen prices out there. I see Andy is going to quote for you later and he uses 4 companies I think so will give a wider range

No they don't. Only Alamo does the seamless option of no desk and pick your own. There are broadly similar options with Avis etc but none as good as Alamo.
Edit. If you are considering Thrifty or Dollar etc wait for Andy but also go wider in your searches as there are deals out there. Andy is offline at the moment but I am sure he will be back on soon.

Would any Dollar savings be negated by how they charge for the tolls?

Good thinking. I was wondering this. I think it’s around $52 a week? So yes, it would probably be cheaper to stick with Alamo, who charge less I think?

Yes, I'm sure Tom mentioned this on another thread and may have mentioned Alamo being his preferred hire company because of this.
Alamo charge something like $4 a day up to a max of $20 for the length of hire if you use Sunpass. You could just pay cash instead. You also have the advantage of going straight to the garage and also being able to choose your own car with Alamo. |

Sorry for the delay. Missed your reply.
Cheapest out of the companies I'd use would be Budget at £179 with driver and spouse. Unfortunately no online check in and Budget tend to have queues at the counter so you'd have to factor that in. Economy with Alamo would be £220 but looks like Brits is coming back cheaper there and they include the extra driver as well. |

Thanks all. Will probably stick with Alamo & go via Brits.
