Taking food
Not sure if this is in the right section. We are doing a split stay dd6 is a very fussy eater. I thought I might put in a couple of packets of her favourite pasta for when we get to the villa. I wasn't sure if there were any restrictions on it And wondered if anyone else knew. It's the batchelors pasta n sauce chicken and mushroom flavour

This official website tells you all you need to know. If it's admissible then make sure that you declare it.

Anything with meat products is a no. So I suppose it depends if it's proper chicken, they don't allow oxo cubes

I've flown multiple times to the us and Canada.
The main stipulations in regards to food is nothing diary, a huge quantity which you could potentially sell on. Most times good I accepted unless they have reason to believe it's not what it's meant to be. I've brought a suitcase full of English goodies for my friends who moved over to Canada and missed the day to day English things. I've never seen a group of people look so happy with a chomp and monster munch lol |

They won't allow you into the USA with any meat, fish, fruit and most dairy although hard cheeses are acceptable.
So as ziggyzag says Oxo is basically a meat product and won't be allowed. They will allow Marmite (yeast) but not Bovril (meat) Mick

I've tried to do a bit more research for you but the Premier Foods web site is lacking in worthwhile information. Found them on a retailer's site and it does contain chicken fat.
If you scroll down to "poultry" in the link that I attached you'll see that it's a close call I'm afraid and I wouldn't like to advise further. Let me look at the Walmart web site to see if there's a comparable product. Mick

I take a couple of tins of Heinz beans because American beans taste awful and Heinz Beans cost $5 per can in Target! :-)
