We did it last summer.

Dd enjoyed it but we wouldn’t repeat.

We’ve eaten there a few times over the years, always for the characters as unfortunately for us the food isn’t great.

Did last October was good for seeing the characters in Halloween costumes and we liked the variety of food but probably wouldn't do it again unless we had the dining plan and were stuck for ideas as we preferred the 50s Prime time (that you can catch a glimpse of as they share bathrooms).

We did this in May. Out of all the places to eat this gets slated the most but we've done it twice and have no issue with it. We go for the characters/Fantasmic/Pixar Package rather than the food though but that's still fine. Pics in my 2017 food report in my signature below.

What outfits were the characters in? We’re booking dinner this year after having lunch 2 years ago. We found it fine, not as nice a setting or food as Crystal Palace but good enough to go for Fantasmic fast passes.

We went in August 2016 and the characters were dressed in beach outfits. As our kids didn't eat hardly anything, we won't be returning. The price is too high for them to eat a couple of chicken nuggets. We enjoyed the Disney Junior buffet better with the character interaction, they loved to get up and dance with them.

We did it at Halloween and really enjoyed it. The characters were great with our kids and the food was decent for a Disney buffet.

we upgraded to DDP and had the Fantastic package at the end of November 2017. We'd not read great reviews so was a little worried but I wanted to see the characters in C'mas outfits and we enjoyed it. Thought the food was decent (for a Disney buffet!) and the characters were good too - the only let down for us was the server as she really seemed to ignore us most of the time an when she did come to us she just seemed quite sharp with us so I spent the rest of our week's meals regretting how much we'd tipped her compared to better servers at cheaper meals!

I thought the food wasn’t bad at all. In fact it was very good.
But no characters came to our table in an hour.
I had to complain as we were leaving.
Would I pay $200+ for family of 4? No chance.
This was when we were on a free DDP package in 2016.
I reckon we also got the sharp server mentioned above- from memory quite a thin older lady.

We went last summer. The characters were dressed cute in summer clothes although only one came to our table the whole time. We have done a lot of Disney buffets and this was by far the worst, the food was warm not hot and the desert selection was rubbish, all items tasted the same and of poor quality.
The restaurant had a ‘dirty’ feel about it and not worth the money. Luckily we was on the dining plan so did not waste $200 +
