It's the hotels that do this - not Virgin. If you book a stay at any of these hotel with any travel company you get complimentary FOTL access. I'm guessing you can just book for 1 night.

Of course, you still have to pay to stay at these hotels (although they're not as expensive as the Universal ones). Whereas, at Disney the fastpass system is free.

Phew I was panicking!
Hope anyone going in the next couple of weeks will update us on how easy or difficult it is to get these passes. We are only in for 1 night at HRH but want to get to FJ asap so hopefully it won't take to long.

Hi Denise,

I think Seaworld do a fastpass system... Its called Quick Queue. If I remember correctly its about $25 per day but is unlimited uses for Manta, Kraken etc

I read somewhere that there were separate booths in reception. I assume you don't need to do it the same time as you check in, you could probably do it any time. We're going in just over a week, so I'll find out then x

Only real big change is that early entrance is now operational for BOTH IoA and US on a trial basis - following on from the opening of Despicable Me. Hope the trial goes well enough to still be in place in August when we get there !

I think you have to do it as you check in otherwise how else will you get access to the parks and FOLP ?

Could someone please confirm that you can check in as early as you like on your first day at HRH. I am just about to book a night for next week but want to ensure that I can get my express plus passes for 2 full days. I thought I read on the universal siite that check in was much later in the day.

I booked direct with the Royal Pacific and the lady on the phone said there would be no problem at all checking in as early as we liked, just to be aware that the room wouldn't be ready until the time stated for checkin on the site.

We checked in just before 8am. You can leave your bags with Bell Services and head off to the parks. If you leave a mobile number, they'll ring you when your room is ready.
