Flights 2 connections

Hi,

Has anyone done 2 flight connections with kids? I've seen flights for 2 ad, 3 kids for 1573 in October. Is the cheap flights worth the hassle!

Ps. Its from Glasgow, direct is ridiculous prices and 1 connection is a longer overall journey due to flight times

We have done 2 stops from Edinburgh with our 5 kids, very easy and it actually broke up the journey. We cleared immigration in the US before Orlando so it was great in that respect too.

We are doing it at Easter. Ams and Detroit on way out and Atlanta Ams on way back. Flights were 282 each. Simply put we wouldn't have been going otherwise! X

We did it last yr and are waiting for the prices to drop again for this year. We actually got to the departure gate in Amsterdam quicker than we could have driven to Manchester and got to their departure gate and it was half the price.

We booked with Expedia flight is with united 2nd-23rd October plus Regal oaks 3 bed townhouse for first two weeks came to 3100. There were cheaper accomodations but like you I have 3 boys and wanted space for a large part of the holiday. Booked the last week at Cabana bay separately with BA for 735. All done through wuidco to get cashback. Flights are with united Edinburgh via New York so one stop. Booked yesterday.
