Booked flight BA cant choose seats

Hi guys,
We always fly with Virgin, however after our august flights were cancelled, my independent TA booked us fly drive, the flights are with BA, I can see my booking in the app, but when you click choose seats, it says seat choices available at check in...

Can I not pay for my seats, it doesn't give me the option on line?

I did see the option to pay on the desktop website for my booking!

Is it a codeshare flight?

I think you might need to ask the TA about it, could be to do with how they have booked it.

When my flight was changed to a later date it showed the new booking but took a couple of days before the seat booking was available

It means it hasn�t been fully ticketed/processed yet by BA. This happens when i change my flights. It takes anywhere between a couple of days (if there�s no payment due) and a few weeks (if there is a payment to be processed).

I have been waiting since January when I made a date change, for my outward ticket to be reissued. When I asked them about it in April, they said they were doing it by date order. I do worry what will happen if it isn't done by check in, they just said it will be. So I still get this message for my outbound seats but not my inbound.

Have you paid for the flights in full? We had to do this for out TA to then pay the airline and for the ticket to be issued - then we could pay to pick our seats.
