Still a bit of a lame excuse though.

"Oh we only save humans from the Deviants. If someone else comes along that might wipe out most of the life on Earth, like Thanos or Ultron or whatever, then we'll let the Earthlings get killed".

Interestingly, in the comicbooks, Thanos was an Eternal, albeit from Titan and not Earth. So you'd think the other Eternals would get involved when Thanos was trying to kill half of all life.

Although that makes me wonder whether they will only get involved if Deviants are involved in the future? Or whether this excuse will conveniently get ignored in the future and some of them will join the Avengers to help fight other threats, like Kang or whatever else comes along?
