Glad you are finally moving it is so emotional, we were in our last house for over 20 years since we got married. Best of luck with the move

Oh gosh, was having a quick nosey on here hoping you had moved 😥 so sorry for you. Hopefully it will be sorted soon. We are 2 years on from our nightmare move and yesterday had a moaning email from our buyer, when will he give up!

Almost a waste of a holiday , try and put it out of your mind and enjoy your time away.

We are meant to be completing next Thursday, hoping to exchange tomorrow

Touch wood so far it’s been smooth, no chain just delays with searches etc our house went up for sale and we accepted an offer on the 19th July and our new build was always pencilled in for next week

So nearly the final straight just hope this last push is all good

We finally moved in yesterday, all went very smoothly on the day apart from our sofa wont fit through the living room door, it's on its side in the conservatory for now ,we thought we could have the window taken out but the previous owner said he doesnt think you can because of the framework, so we may need an upholsterer to take the arm off the sofa and re attach it.
Worst case we buy a different sofa and use this on in the conservatory.
Feels good to be in though, exhausted but got tons done today .
Ready for my weekend in London tomorrow to see frozen

We exchanged on Thursday and are moving this Thursday

Shocking how much clutter we’ve acquired over the years which you don’t notice till you come to move
