Easyjet extra legroom seats
Hi
I'm just looking at flights for the end of March next year. Anyone had flights with easyjet and paid extra for the extra legroom seats? i think you get baggage and stuff included with it too. It is only short flight but i've read their seat pitch is 29" and DH is 6foot7. 31 would of been doable (ish) but not 29. Any reviews? or comments.

i had speedy boarding, extra bag and up front seats but i think the ELR seats were more again.
They are by the emergency exits so need to fit the criteria for them too

Yes we've just had them on our summer holiday. You get speedy boarding and a larger on board bag (wheeled one as appose to backpack size) available as either extra legroom or row 2DEF depending on the plane ( which are row 1 bulkhead or emergency exit) legroom is probably an extra 2 or so inches. If its emergency exit there are other criteria aswell you have to match to

also if you are in exit row then all bags (ie the 2 you are allowed & duty frees ) MUST go in overhead lockers so room under the seat in front for your feet.
so there is lots of extra space - a bargain for me as travel light and can easily get enough for 10 days in the allowed 2 bag carry on - thus saving on checked bag fees No real drawbacks - apart from the occasional jobsworth steward insisting that everything must be stowed |
