It’s growing in clumps in our lawn (excuse the state of said lawn) it really looks like fingers growing up out of the grass 😱😱😱

As D332 says, it's a fungi. Usually find it growing on old tree stumps tho so maybe you have some old wood in the soil there. I have it on an old pear tree stump at present
