Mobile Virgin MAN twilight check in...

So I’m hearing and reading that from April 1st, this year, Virgin will be doing twilight check in at Manchester airport between the hours 16.00-20.00, daily.

Anybody else heard this or can confirm it?

Sorry, off topic, but I have always been really puzzled with twilight check in. Don’t you need your bag in the morning?

I think it mostly hinges on what you do with the car.
We check into the Hotel and at 5.00pm wander across to Twilight check in and get shot of the cases.
Back to the Hotel to chill out.

In the morning sling the overnight bag into the car and drive it to the Meet & Greet Guys. Then stroll straight through to Security with no lines etc.

I've not heard anything about a twilight checkin at Manchester, but it would certainly be handy. I'm not glued to their social media feeds, but I follow them both, the airport
especially because the new terminal is due anytime now.
I can't imagine that if it was a week away from launching we wouldn't have heard something about it either from Virgin or the airport themselves.

I’ve often wondered this. I’d be worried that I’d forgotten something that I’d packed and sent off through twilight checkin. I could guarantee that I would need something out of my suitcase! 😂 It makes me feel comfortable having all my stuff with me.

Maybe I need to get more organised?! 🤔 as it’s a great idea for most pp.

Ha ha. My Wife is 'Mrs Organised'

We have an easy system
1. Take all the bathroom toiletries and put them in a bag That way we ensure we have the tootbrushes, toothpaste, shaving gear and deodorants.
2. Clothes to fly in
3. Spare hair staighteners
4. Bottle of wine
5. 2 x glasses (pastic)
6. Alarm clock

Job done.

Edit. No's 4 and 5 are the most important.

So hope this is true!

We travel to the Radisson on the 5th, and although it wouldn't save too much time on the morning of the 6th when we travel, it does certainly help when you are having to take 3 cases, pram, toddler etc. If I can get shut of the cases the night before this would be great!

We did have this when travelling with TC to LAX back in 2016!

OP... where have you read this?

I like your wife's organisation, especially numbers 3 &4 - a woman after my own heart
