Mobile concierge Stateroom staycation

Hi all,
We have booked a 4 night staycation with the kids in Aug.

I have just noticed the price of the 2 night cruise in September and wondering if i should book a 2 night birthday mini break for my hubby and I.
We wouldn’t be able to take the kids due to school and never done any thing disney related without them.

How do adults find doing DCL with the kids?

Any idea how concierge will work during staycation. I had read that there is access to snacks and soft drinks during the day and then wine/ cocktails during dinner hours (5-10) do you think this will still run?

Is it worth doing a 2 night. Be lovely to have some child free time to explore the adult only options but it is very short.

Any views?

Thanks

So far, I've heard that evening access to the lounge may be allocated based on dining times. I also read that they may be delivering drinks to rooms to reduce the number of people going into the lounge. I haven't seen this anywhere official though! Hopefully someone knows more than me.

I would do the first cruise, see how you like it etc, 2 night cruise means one full day only, and for me that wouldn’t be enough, in fact, its never long enough no matter how long we cruise for, over the years we said minimum 10 nights, then we did 13, and really found the extra three days so good, its a bit like Florida, slightly addictive... ! If you enjoy the four night one, why not?

Sounds like a sensible plan but with a/l to book and granny care for kids, everything need booked way ahead. We have done 2 DCL short trips( 3 nights ) and loved them.

I am figuring that I wouldn’t hesitate to book a 2 night hotel stay so why should i view this differently. Also priced a local hotel that we have done short special breaks in and the price isn’t much different ( it is a nice hotel) without meals.

The biggest doubt i have is feeling guilty on the kids but may just tell them we are going somewhere else. 🤷🏻

So, now my debate is concierge or not. We have stayed club level at disney and enjoyed the lounge and looks pretty similar. Without the kids i think we would spend the day in the adult areas that we haven’t visited before.

Thanks for your response 😀
