Looks like we are going back to the Rockies next year!

I’ve wanted to visit Banff and Lake Louise for the longest time and last year I started planning a trip for this summer just gone. I booked a year and a half out and we eventually went this summer in August. We spent 12 days roadtripping through BC and Alberta.

I’ve entered soo many competitions this year and I’ve been lucky enough to win a few. I won a two night trip to lake Louise with a $150 dinner voucher and tickets up the lake Louise gondola and just last week I won a one night stay at emerald lake lodge.

I’ve also just booked what I’m pretty sure might be a glitch rate for the Banff park lodge because it was more than 50% less of every other hotel!

This summer our time in Banff wasn’t great because our 4 days in Banff were covered in smoke from the wild fires. I didn’t see anything while we were there. So hopefully I might actually see some mountains next summer!

I can’t wait to see these views again!

Congratulations on your wins😁 We’ve been to Banff twice and I can’t wait to go back. Like you first time was in July August and was smokey. The second time was end of May beginning of June and for me much better - snow, icy lakes and more wildlife. It was light at night really late as well so made the most of our time there.

Fantastic. Banff and Lake Louise are great. Don’t miss the Banff Gondola and the thermal springs were fun and very warm. Lake Louise was beautiful
