Incident at Liverpool Women’s Hospital

Three people have now been arrested under the Terrorism Act in connection to the explosion outside the hospital this morning.
If women and their new babies were actually an intended target then I feel sick to my stomach. What on earth is the world coming to.

Early days yet to know what’s happened. However the Counter Terrorism Police are leading the enquiry which speaks volumes.

Sad to say but in every Town and every City these scum walk amongst us. Hence I trust nobody.

I agree Tom, it’s early days yet but I just feel horrified at the thought of what could have been.
I have told dd to be hyper aware going into Uni this week.

It just happens to be Remembrance Sunday too.
Absolute scum that should be thrown in a cell and left to rot.

Sounds like the taxi driver has been pivotal in saving lives here.

It appears that he spotted the female passenger had 'something'' and locked them in the back of the taxi before running off.

Probably saved his own life and those of many in the hospital and stopped the attack.

If true what a brave individual.

Also, Cheshire Police had armed police at Cheshire Oaks this weekend. I wonder if there was a warning...?

They were tweeting it was 'normal' and nothing to worry about.

I think it is normal (sadly) in the run up to Christmas. All the Christmas markets near me often have them. Crowded areas are prime targets, and I think the Berlin attacks are on their minds

More local rumour (well friend is getting from trusted source) on this... Apparently taxi was booked to go to Rememberance parade and taxi driver diverted to the nearest hospital. That will have helped him get the treatment needed quickly. 💙
