Boston airport transfer

We have been to Boston back in 2011 , can’t remember who we used for transport though.
Going in Dec and staying in Downtown / financial district .

Not sure whether to try pre book or just wait till we arrive and get a taxi/ Uber bit would rather book something before hand I think.
Anyone recommend a transfer?

Get the T (underground) it's cheap and the blue line goes into financial district. Which hotel?

We got a taxi from Logan to Downtown and it was around $15. I guess that if there are more than 2 of you, then Taxi will beat the underground for convenience (no waiting) if not cost as well, also putting you exactly where you want to be.

It is a very short journey.

It’s the Hilton downtown.
If it was a direct train maybe but for the relatively small taxi cost think we will just get a taxi at airport.

Taxi would work too, your hotel is about 2 blocks from Aquaium T stop which is on the blue line.

You have choosen a great hotel position, close to everything. Walking distance to North End for great Italian food, close to one branch of Legal Seafood my favorite fish restaurant.

You will have a great time

We just got a taxi off the airport ramp after verifying a price, sorry cannot remember what it was, it was no problem. We did pre order a taxi to go back to the car hire through the hotel and it was the same price

We are due to arrive late morning pre rush hour so I might get a 7 day public transport pass. We get our car from Logan Airport at the end of our Boston stay, so apart from the transport around Boston we should get good use out of the pass.
