Kenwood Travel - Villas
Can anyone tell me whether the villa you see when you search on Kenwood Travel is the one you actually get. Last two trips were to a villa owned by people I knew through work but it's been sold. Have never had such a short countdown before, normally have months not weeks to get everything sorted. Thanks

Like all the tour operators Kenwood don't own any villas theybwill all be privately owned and sourced through a third party such as a management company

Thanks Helen, the photos look very specific rather than generic if you know what I mean.

Yes there are specific villas on Kenwood website that you can pick and that is the one you will have, we have done this before with them and are doing it this August again with them!

That could sway me. Some really nice ones showing. Thought I might struggle at such short notice but I suppose there are thousands of villas. Next to figure out if I can justify a night in a Universal premium hotel!

They offer a choice of specific villas, but you are not guaranteed to get the one you select.
We chose an executive villa on a corner plot with no overlooking and a south facing pool. 8 days before departure, we received directions to a different villa. When we queried this, we were told that the villa we had picked was not available so they gave us another one with the same number of bedrooms. It was in a different community, not anywhere near the quality of the one we had selected, had a north facing pool and was seriously overlooked. Never used Kenwood again. |

They did exactly the same to me, minimum notice and a choice of 2 or 3 to pick from. None were what I wanted but I was told that's your choice take it or leave it.
The villa itself was ok size wise and we did have a Walgreens near by but we ended up with a north facing pool surrounded by trees, no jacuzzi and no games room, wasn't happy with their customer service at all.
