Watching the BA flights to San Diego...

I fly on 22nd October

You cant book a direct flight on BA to San Diego now until the 4th Oct.

The guillotine is being prepared...

Before Covid BA sometimes ran flights to San Diego via Phoenix. Infact it was the same plane that dropped PAX and cargo at Phoenix then onwards to San Diego and return (a lot down to San Diego landing not being able to take a laden large aircraft) so they may still run (if the US Pres allows us in - who knows ?) albeit via Phoenix. Other option would ne they would fly you via Dallas or LA then a domestic hop - another option BA have done to me in the past

Yeah, it's not about actually getting there directly.

I was making the point (poorly) that it's getting closer to my holiday being cancelled as my outbound is direct to san Diego.

I feel your pain. Our 22 October VH booking to LA was cancelled this morning. Gutted as we had bargain Upper class flights as part of the deal and was for a birthday treat for DD. Back to planning!

We're with BA to LAX on the 28th Oct but I fear it's highly unlikely. Our back up plan is The Bahamas.

Phoenix worth a few day or 2 Alice Coopers bar is amazing
San Diego a great place and tons to do, and its a great drive North to LA
