Anyone else watching this on Apple+?

Sci-fi based on the novels by Isaac Asimov. I remember seeing the trailer ages ago and it looked stunning. Apple were spending a lot on this and meant to be one of their flagship programs but surprised not to see this advertised much.

I watched the first episode and have absolutely no idea what’s going on Not sure, but I’ll continue.

We're watching it. Very very different from the books, but it has to be. "A remix rather than a direct adaptation" is what I saw one critic say.

Beautiful visuals, and I think they're doing well enough with the story whilst keeping the core themes. Going to give it a decent chance.

One of my favourite book series growing up. Loved Hari Seldon and his Psychohistory.

Psychohistory - the study of sociology, history and maths to make general predictions on the future of large populations, in this case the galactic empire.
