One day Disney ticket - best place to buy
Hi, we aren’t doing Disney next year and are instead staying onsite in universal. However eldest daughter now wants to go to magic kingdom. We can squeeze a day in but where is the best place to buy from? Would on the gate be better? Thanks

Don't wait for the gate, as you need to reserve the park. There's a good chance that there will be capacity, but I wouldn't want to be standing at TTC and finding out you can't go in. Heart breaking.
Anyway, you can purchase directly through the Disney World app which is probably the best way. You won't find any significant discounts on a one day ticket through the resellers such as Undercover Tourist so may as well go direct. |

As above, the best place to buy a 1 day ticket is usually from Disney themselves using the app (or, if you have a VPN, via their website - but using the app is probably easier).
Open the app and log in (if you're not already). Click on the icon which looks like a circle with a plus in it. Then select "Buy Tickets and Passes". You will have to pay in dollars, so keep that in mind (eg. pay using a credit card that doesn't charge a foreign transaction fee, if you have one). Also, you'll have to choose the date when you want to visit the park - park tickets are dated and you can't buy an open-ended one day ticket that can be used on any day.

Thank you both, I’ve had a look and it seems it will cost £300 roughly for just magic kingdom. Now do we scrap seaworld/aquatica and use the money for MK instead 🤔
