Has anyone ever driven NY to Orlando
Hi
As the title suggests, is this even doable? And how long would you reckon it would take, not constant driving 24hrs obviously. There will be 2 drivers so we could share it And any suggestions of stops along the way Part of the planning for DD 18th next July, she wants to spend time in NY as well as our home Julie

Its over 1000 miles, so you'll looking at a minimum of two days.

Did this a long time ago, 1983 I think. We took about a week over the trip. two nights in New York, then to Washington for a couple of nights followed by taking the scenic drive south down the blue ridge mountains. We stopped in Chattanooga, Charleston and Savannah before reaching Florida. It was a memorable trip and a great way to see some of the east coast. You could do it in much less time but it would be more of an endurance test than a holiday. Hard to believe it was nearly forty years ago but great memories.

Couldn't see it being the most scenic of road trips. 8 or 9 hours driving a day for 2 days would do it. I'd go via Delaware just to go under the Chesapeake Bay bridge / tunnel.

I’ve looked at this but with children we’d want the rooms which makes it expensive.
